Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including dump truck, grader, loader, skid steer, excavator, hydro-vac and backhoe.
• Spread salt and sand for ice control.
• Flush sewer lines.
• Maintain municipal compost site.
• Perform road and street maintenance.
• Maintain drainage systems.
• Dig ditches and cemetery plots.
• Load and unload trucks with supplies.
• Seasonal cleanup and sidewalk/road cleaning.
• Assist in maintenance of water & sewer works and fire hydrants.
• Oversee seasonal employees as needed and sign off on competent operators.
• Carry out daily safety procedures and document activities.
• Report daily activities and maintain records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
