Responsibilities

• Ensure safety compliance and operate equipment per regulations and site requirements.
• Safely operate a telehandler to lift, move, and place materials.
• Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment on site.
• Provide site support to trades and crews with material placement and logistics.
• Perform daily inspections of equipment and report issues.
• Coordinate with supervisors and site personnel for efficient material movement.
• Ensure loads are properly secured and handled safely.
• Support other site-related tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Safety Compliance: Operating equipment in accordance with all safety regulations and site-specific requirements
• Equipment Operation: Safely operating a telehandler for lifting, moving, and placing materials
• Material Handling: Loading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment across site
• Site Support: Assisting trades and site crews with material placement and logistical support
• Inspection & Maintenance: Performing daily equipment inspections and reporting any issues or defects
• Communication: Coordinating with supervisors and site personnel for efficient material movement
• Load Security: Ensuring all loads are properly secured and handled safely
• General Duties: Supporting other site-related tasks as required

Requirements

• Valid telehandler certification (mandatory)
• Valid Skid Steer certification (mandatory)
• Proven experience operating a telehandler in industrial or construction environments
• Strong understanding of safe lifting practices and load handling procedures
• Ability to work in remote and industrial job site environments
• Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Assets

• Experience in mining, forestry, or heavy industrial construction environments
• Additional heavy equipment certifications
• Bilingualism (English/French)
