Join Our Team: Equipment Loan Program (ELP) Logistics Coordinator

The Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Society of British Columbia (ALS BC) was founded in 1981 by Dr. Andrew Eisen, ALS patients, and their families to support the physical and emotional needs of those affected by ALS. Our mission is to cure ALS through research funding while advocating for and supporting people living with ALS and their caregivers.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented ELP Logistics Coordinator to join our team and help ensure essential medical equipment is delivered to ALS patients, efficiently and compassionately.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Equipment Loan Program Manager in coordinating the movement and tracking of loaned equipment.
  • Organize shipments and returns, ensuring timely delivery and pick-up.
  • Maintenance, installation, cleaning and return equipment as required.
  • Prepare and manage documentation, including customs forms for international loans.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using database systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, caregivers and ALS patients to uphold service standards.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, inventory coordination, or a related role.
  • Degree or diploma in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Windows-based programs; experience with Salesforce or similar inventory software is an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within British Columbia.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
