Job summary

Corner Collection in Montreal is seeking a dedicated Public Area Cleaner to maintain pristine hotel lobbies and public spaces. You will ensure high hygiene standards, disinfect high-touch surfaces, and collaborate with the housekeeping team to deliver a seamless guest experience.

The role requires physical stamina, independence, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong sense of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
• Good physical condition (standing for extended periods, handling moderate loads).
• Organized, dependable, and capable of prioritizing tasks.
• Comfortable interacting with guests in a discreet and professional manner.
• Ability to follow safety and hygiene protocols; flexible to varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas of the hotel including hallways, elevators, staircases, public restrooms, and other common spaces.
• Ensure hygiene and sanitation standards are maintained at all times.
• Regularly disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, switches, and railings.
• Clean floors, walls, windows, and mirrors using appropriate tools and products.
• Monitor the condition of public areas and report any issues or repair needs.
• Ensure public areas are stocked with necessary supplies (soap, paper products, sanitizer, etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness of the hotel entrance and exterior areas when needed.
• Work discreetly and courteously without disturbing guests.
• Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure overall efficiency.
• Other tasks may be assigned, and so we’re counting on your flexibility and resourcefulness!
