Responsibilities

The Program Manager, under the direction of the CIO or Director of Applications, ensures that the project is on the right path and has the visibility it requires. This individual guides the project team through the implementation and is the central point of communication, maintaining a common vision, plan, and goal across all areas of the project.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  1. Six (6) or more years of applicable work experience required.
  2. Minimum five (5) years of experience working with electronic medical record required.
  3. Experience leading an Epic implementation required.
  4. Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  5. Experience leading large teams of individuals and the ability to manage staff effectively.
  6. Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred qualifications:

  1. Minimum four (4) years of experience with an integrated healthcare information system preferred.
  2. Minimum four (4) years of experience in project management preferred.
  3. Knowledge of healthcare industry and hospital operations preferred.

Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $125,632.00 to $169,603.20 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
