Job summary

Clean Harbors in Long Harbour, NL is seeking Class 1 and 3 Drivers to operate Vacuum Trucks and High Pressure Equipment for industrial cleaning at client sites. The role includes 50% travel, with 5–10 days away from home.

Responsibilities include safe driving, loading/unloading waste, pre/post trip inspections, proper placarding, and teamwork with customers and supervisors in a full-time role with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Class 1 or 3 Driver’s License required
• Previous commercial driving experience required
• Industrial and/or Construction based background considered an asset
• Ability to work in all weather conditions for extended periods of time
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time, up to 5-10 days away from home at a time

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Drive, operate and maintain assigned units
• Guarantee proper loading and unloading of hazardous/non-hazardous waste
• Perform pre and post trip inspections and ensure equipment is mechanically sound and in good working order at all times
• Ensure proper placarding of vehicles to meet all requirements and regulations
• Complete field level risk assessments and other related paperwork
• Work as part of a team with customers, co-workers & supervisors.

Our Clean Harbors team in Long Harbour, NL is looking for Class 3 and 1 Drivers to join their safety conscious team! The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of units such as Vacuum Trucks and High Pressure Equipment to perform industrial cleaning at various client sites.
