Randstad Canada is seeking an Environmental Professional Level 2 to support BC Hydro projects from Burnaby, with travel to project areas across BC. This is a 12-month contract with extension potential.

The role requires large capital project experience, contractor management, and BC work experience. Eligible for professional association membership (RP Bio, P.Geo, PMP, P.Eng.) is preferred, with a focus on environment topics within project teams.

Qualifications

• Experience managing contractors and contracts on large capital projects.
• Experience coordinating with First Nations and regulatory agencies.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations in project contexts.
• Ability to plan mitigation development and scheduling/budget tracking.

Responsabilités

• Manage environmental contractors and procurement & contract administration.
• Coordinate responses with First Nations and regulatory agencies on environmental topics.
• Assist in mitigation development and planning.
• Manage scope, schedule and cost progression for the work package.
• Interpret environmental regulations in project activities.
• Coordinate environment constraints analysis with a greenfield focus.
• Travel to project area for meetings, field tours and workshops.
• Provide input to project team on environmental topics.
