About the Role:

We are growing and are seeking an experienced professional for the role of Environmental Technician, in our Windsor, Nova Scotia facility. This position will support Environmental Monitoring programs and identify and correct deficiencies within our Quality Management System, and will provide QA oversight of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting water samples from HP water systems and air/surface samples from rated processing suites to support our environmental monitoring program.
  • Preparing summary documents and formal reports pertaining to Environmental sampling.
  • Assisting in the investigation and closure of non-conformances related to the Environmental monitoring program
  • Participate in facility and utility evaluations for EMPQ compliance activities.
  • Incubating plates, recording micro results, as well as QC review and results entry.
  • Complying with documented safety practices for the laboratory and the manufacturing facilities.

  • Post secondary education with preference for science or engineering. A university degree would be an asset for this role!
  • Excellent organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate across a wide range of platforms and face-to-face.
