Job summary

Island Health is seeking staff for Lady Minto Hospital on Salt Spring Island, BC. The position is Regular PT with a 0.58 FTE and rotating days off. Bi‑weekly hours total 41.25, with shifts from 13:30–20:00 or 16:00–20:00.

The role requires a Criminal Record Check (CRC) and a start date of Oct. 7, 2026. Performs cleaning duties using a range of equipment, including dusting, vacuuming and mopping; makes beds and disposes of garbage following policy.

Qualifications

• Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to deal with others effectively.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.

Responsibilities
