Job summary

Northern Health is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Worker for a casual position at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital. You will perform a variety of cleaning and disinfecting duties across patient rooms, operating rooms, labs, washrooms and common areas, following NH policies and safety standards.

The role requires good communication, organizational skills and physical ability to operate cleaning equipment. Grade 10 or equivalent is required, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to organize work and operate related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental services duties in patient rooms, operating rooms, labs, washrooms and common areas.
• Maintain clean, disinfected conditions across the facility in line with NH policies.
• Follow safety procedures and work under supervision to support hospital operations.

Job description

Position Summary

We are currently looking for a hard working and dedicated Environmental Services Worker to fill a Casual position at the Prince Rupert Regional Hospital.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, this position performs a variety of environmental services duties throughout the facility. Maintains clean and disinfected conditions in areas such as patient/resident/client rooms, Operating Rooms, Diagnostic Imaging and Laboratory, Labour and Delivery Rooms, washrooms, corridors, hallways, lounges, offices, and common areas used by staff, visitors and patients/residents/clients as established in Northern Health Regional Environmental Services Policies and Processes.

Qualifications

• Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
