Job summary

West Edmonton Mall Property Inc. is seeking a senior Pest Control Manager to oversee pest management programs across West Edmonton Mall. The role covers retail, entertainment, food service areas, and hotel properties, ensuring safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.

The position requires Category 7 Pest Control certification and Pesticide Applicator Certification, with strong knowledge of integrated pest management and staff training. Collaboration with multiple departments is essential.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid structural (Category 7) Pest Control certificate or obtain within timeframe.
Must have a valid Pesticide Applicator Certification.
Experience in pest control, environmental services, or facility sanitation management.
Strong understanding of integrated pest management and environmental safety standards.

Responsibilities

Oversee pest control operations across mall spaces including retail, entertainment, food courts, and hotel properties.
Conduct regular inspections to identify pest activity, sanitation risks, and structural vulnerabilities.
Provide daily pest control and sanitation activities to industry standards.
Develop and implement treatment plans compliant with regulations.
Coordinate external pest control vendors and ensure service quality.
Maintain records of inspections, treatments, and chemical usage.
Train mall staff and tenants on sanitation standards and pest prevention.
Monitor pest activity trends and adjust protocols for effectiveness.
Respond rapidly to pest-related incidents to minimize disruption.
Collaborate with Maintenance, Housekeeping, Attractions, and Food & Beverage.
