Alberta Health Services (AHS) is seeking a dependable Environmental Services II (cleaner/housekeeper) to maintain high-quality cleaning and safety standards in healthcare environments. Shifts may include days, evenings and weekends as required. Primary location is Three Hills Health Centre.

The role involves cleaning patient rooms, clinical and non-clinical areas, restocking supplies, linen handling, and reporting hazards. Training will be provided.

Qualificações

• Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent. Knowledge and operation of computers and smartphones.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and perform repetitive movements for the duration of your shift.
• Physically capable to lift up to 25 lbs and push and pull up to 50 lbs of force.

Responsabilidades

• Strip linen and make beds.

Alberta Health Services (AHS) is looking for adependable, highly motivated individual for the position of EnvironmentalServices II (cleaner/housekeeper trained to work in healthcare) that isdedicated to both high-quality work and safety.AHS will provide the necessary training tosafely clean and disinfect patient rooms, clinical areas, office areas, andother common staff/public areas in accordance with Alberta Health Servicesstandards and practices. Shift schedulesmay include a combination of day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Description:

As an Environmental Services staff, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks associated with cleaning and disinfecting clinical and non-clinical healthcare environments within a hospital or facility. Your typical duties may include sweeping, mopping and vacuuming; restocking supplies in bathroom facilities; stripping linen and making beds; operating industrial cleaning equipment for floor maintenance and restoration; thorough washing of ceilings and windows; emptying hazardous waste; and replenishing cleaning supplies and linens. You will also be responsible for identifying and reporting potential hazards to your Working Leader and you may also provide training or orientation to Environmental or Laundry staff.
