Job summary

SLR Consulting in Canada is seeking a Project Manager for our Environmental Sciences Service Line in Ontario. You will lead multi-disciplinary projects with a strong focus on proposal development, budgeting, and client communication, often serving as the primary liaison across acoustics, air quality, and ecology teams.

You will manage project lifecycles from RFP responses to delivery, with more than 50% of time devoted to proposals.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in environmental science, engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum five years of project management experience in environmental consulting.
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience writing proposals and responding to RFPs.
• Ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects and teams across Canada.

Responsibilities

• Respond to proposals and RFPs; write and/or compile proposals and budgets.
• Liaise with technical disciplines to define project scope.
• Manage and maintain client relationships through regular communication.
• Oversee and delegate project tasks to small technical groups.
• Plan, report, and track schedules and budgets.
• Ensure proposals and projects adhere to policy and deliverables on time.
• Mentor junior staff and support business development efforts.
• Develop plans to expand business opportunities in Environmental Sciences.
