Job summary

SLR Consulting is seeking a Project Manager to support Environmental Sciences projects in Ontario, coordinating Acoustics, Air Quality, and Ecology teams. This role centers on proposal work, budgeting, and client relations with a strong emphasis on project lifecycle management.

You will collaborate across disciplines, manage multi-disciplinary projects, and contribute to business development while growing professionally. Travel across North America may be required.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience performing project management in environmental consulting.
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience writing proposals and responding to RFPs.
• Knowledge of planning policy in Ontario (preferred but not mandatory).
• Ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects across Canada.

Responsibilities

• Respond to proposals and RFPs; write and/or compile proposals and budgets.
• Manage and maintain client relationships with consistent communication.
• Oversee project tasks within small technical groups; coordinate schedules and budgets.
• Ensure deliverables meet schedule and budget; track project financials.
• Mentor junior staff and support business development while growing the team.
