Job summary
Dillon Consulting Limited seeks an Intermediate/Senior Noise Engineer to join its Atmospheric Services team in Ontario, with hybrid work options. You will lead acoustics, noise and vibration projects for facilities and transportation, mentor junior staff, and collaborate across environmental science, planning and management.
We value proactive business development, regulatory liaison, and using AI-enabled tools to enhance design.
Qualifications
- Licensed to practice as a professional engineer or eligible to register.
- Degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in acoustics, noise and vibration with leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategy and drive execution of acoustics and noise solutions.
- Collaborate across environmental science, planning and management.
- Manage acoustics, noise and vibration projects for facilities and transportation.
- Provide technical support to junior staff, including monitoring, modelling, abatement strategies, and regulatory liaison.
- Encourage automation and AI-enabled tools in design.
- Drive business development and client relationships.
- Travel to other Dillon offices as needed.
