Job summary

The Regional District of Fraser-Fort George (RDFFG) is seeking an experienced and collaborative people leader to drive environmental stewardship, community well-being, and long-term sustainability of regional services and infrastructure.

Reporting to the General Manager, Environmental Services, the Manager, Environmental Programs + Compliance provides strategic leadership for environmental programs, regulatory compliance, and service delivery across the RDFFG.

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership for environmental programs, regulatory compliance, and service delivery across the RDFFG.
• Oversee environmental monitoring, pollution control, waste diversion, and stewardship of parks, utilities, facilities, and natural assets.
• Lead program planning, policy development, environmental compliance, and operational improvement initiatives with staff, contractors, and regulators.
