An established industry player is seeking an Environmental Planner to lead environmental planning processes for operational and maintenance projects. Trans Mountain Corporation operates Canada’s only pipeline system transporting oil products to the West Coast. We deliver approximately 890,000 barrels of petroleum products each day through a dual pipeline system of more than 1,150 kilometres of pipeline in Alberta, British Columbia and Washington state.
Trans Mountain also operates a state-of-the-art loading facility, Westridge Marine Terminal, with three berths providing tidewater access to global markets.

As an Environmental Planner with Trans Mountain, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing Trans Mountain’s environmental planning process for operational and maintenance (O&M) projects within the Lower Mainland BC Region of Trans Mountain’s operations. The overall deliverable of this position is to identify and facilitate the avoidance, minimization, and mitigation of environmental impacts associated with O&M activities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
This contract position will be based at the Sumas Terminal location and reports to the Manager, Environmental Services.
