Our client is seeking an experienced Environmental Information & Permitting Coordinator to support the development of a major new gold mining operation in British Columbia.
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in establishing the environmental information management systems and processes required to support permitting, regulatory compliance and project execution for a major mine development.
Working as part of the owner's Environmental & Compliance team, you will be responsible for enhancing, implementing and maintaining the environmental information systems that enable effective management of permits, approvals, commitments and regulatory obligations throughout construction and into operations.
This role will work closely with environmental professionals, consultants, the Project/Construction Management (PCM) contractor and project leadership to ensure environmental information is accurate, accessible and effectively managed.
This is a contract position expected to run for approximately 2 to 2½ years through construction and project completion.
Reporting to the Manager, Environment & Compliance, you will provide specialized environmental information management support to the permitting and compliance team.

The standard work schedule is 40 hours per week, with additional hours occasionally required during site visits or key project milestones.
