People and Culture Lead at Integrated Sustainability

Description:

As a Project Manager you will support projects that span multiple disciplines within our organization in order to deliver high quality and sustainable solutions to our clients. Your experience in the industry and/or consulting, as well as your leadership, project and people skills will enable you to make a difference in our industry and inspire new and better ways to implement engineering and water management solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute activities related to end-to-end project management, including project plans and estimates, scoping, and progress reports.
  • Build, strengthen and maintain client relationships.
  • Proactively monitor, manage and report on execution of deliverables.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects for various discipline groups.
  • Participate in regular project reporting, schedule updates, and forecasting in collaboration with Project Controls.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet or exceed both client and internal expectations by implementing a deliverable quality assurance review appropriate to the project size and scope.
  • Work logically and systematically, with strong time management.
  • Identify and assemble project teams to meet project requirements.
  • Communicate clearly with clients, internal team members and support services to ensure alignment.
  • Proactively define and mitigate overall project risk through interaction with the project team and clients.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members.

Position Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7+ years of proven experience in Project Management.
  • Professional designation or eligible for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (EGBC) and/or the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) is an asset.
  • Legally able to work in Canada.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Excellent project management skills including development and management of client relationships, scopes, budgets, and schedules.
  • Experience and familiarity with engineering (and associated planning, design, procurement and execution) of oil and gas and/or mining facilities projects (both greenfield and brownfield).
  • Flexibility, creative problem‑solving skills, and the ability to manage change with excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
  • As a leader within the business, demonstrate leadership qualities and help drive the standard in quality and project excellence.
  • Experience leading and driving accountability on multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Willingness to manage projects in a variety of industries and clients, including but not limited to energy, mining, and municipal.
  • Ability to manage and resolve conflicts should they arise (both internal and external).
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple complex projects with a proactive approach and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Technical background in planning, design, and construction of water and/or wastewater infrastructure.
  • Industry experience in mining, construction, and hydrogeology is an asset.
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Projects, 4castplus) is an asset.
  • Depending on project needs, this role may require performing site visits and conducting field work with a focus on safety.
