Job Responsibilities
  1. Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System policies, as per OH&S and relevant regulations.
  2. Participate in internal and external audits related to health, safety, and environmental systems.
  3. Assist with action plans addressing team concerns, audit requirements, legal orders, and environmental issues.
  4. Contribute to plant and departmental KPIs related to health, safety, and environment; analyze statistics and recommend improvements.
  5. Act as liaison with regulatory agencies and corporate departments.
  6. Establish and monitor environmental and sustainability programs, updating policies as required under ISO14001 and legislation.
  7. Facilitate testing and sampling in compliance with legislation and EMS.
  8. Manage legal applications and reporting for waste, emissions, and environmental data.
  9. Investigate accidents and environmental incidents, ensuring corrective actions are completed.
  10. Analyze accident data and make safety recommendations; assist in safety program development.
  11. Conduct risk assessments for new or modified processes.
  12. Facilitate meetings for health and safety committees and sustainability teams.
  13. Prepare and deliver training on health, safety, environmental, and sustainability programs.
