Job summary

WSP seeks a Graduate Project Engineer or Geoscientist in St. Catharines, Ontario. Join an established environmental, hydrogeological team and contribute to field investigations, monitoring programs, and reporting across landfills, aggregates, and contaminated sites.

Based in St. Catharines, you will perform groundwater, surface water, soil sampling, and associated testing, while supporting subsurface investigations and data interpretation to inform project decisions.

Qualifications

• Exposure to environmental, geotechnical, or geo-environmental field work is an asset.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and field data.
• Willingness to complete outdoor field assignments and travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to environmental monitoring programs at various sites (landfills, aggregate sites, contaminated sites).
• Deliver groundwater, surface water, soil sampling and testing per established procedures.
• Support drilling, test pitting, and subsurface investigations.
• Collaborate with technicians, geoscientists, and engineers to turn field observations into project decisions.
• Produce organized field records and support data analysis and reporting.
• Follow company safety policies and site health and safety plans.
