Key Job Functions/Responsibilities

Environment Management

• Leadership: Work with Technology leads to ensure new environments are delivered on time and fit for purpose with appropriate integration and control frameworks.
• Control: Ensure environments are available during testing phases. Be willing to question timescales and approaches.
• Monitoring: Monitor environment performance and ensure monitoring is in place to highlight issues.
• Improvement: Continuously improve environment delivery, control, and monitoring processes.
• Triaging: Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with other teams for resolution.

Release Management

• Planning: Develop and maintain environment and release plans.
• Reporting: Generate timely and accurate release and environment status reports covering code lines, patches, defects, enhancements, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Agile: Facilitate release management within an Agile framework.

Basic Skill Level Requirements

Education:

• University degree or college diploma in a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

• 1 to 5 years of experience in release management or technical analyst roles.

Skills and Tools:

• Proficiency in SQL (Oracle/Sybase) is essential.
• Experience with MQ, monitoring tools (Geneos, AWS, Splunk, Datadog).
• Basic understanding of firewalls and networks.
• Knowledge of Incident and Change Management, ITIL Framework (highly desirable).
• Familiarity with Release Management, Change Management, and ITSM.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Previous experience in Corporate Actions/Trade Settlement products is advantageous.
