Amrize North America Inc. is seeking an Environment Coordinator to optimize environmental management practices and ensure regulatory compliance across BC and the Pacific Northwest.

This majority field-based role will collaborate with the BC Environment Manager and Operations staff to drive permit-related programs and sustainability initiatives. You will implement environmental programs, assist with regulatory reporting, support training and auditing, manage projects, and promote a culture of

Qualifications

• Minimum technical diploma or university degree in Earth Sciences, Biology, Engineering, Environment or related discipline.
• Professional designation (P.Ag, R.P.Bio, P.Eng) preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of related environmental experience; fieldwork sampling.

Responsibilities

• Assist in optimizing environmental management practices and regulatory compliance across BC and the PNW.
• Engage with BC Environment Manager and Operations to drive permit-related programs.
• Support environmental disciplines: surface water, groundwater, sediment, air quality, remediation, erosion control.
• Draft regulatory reports by organizing and interpreting data for consultants.
• Assist with training programs and environmental auditing for BC/PNW operations.
• Respond to environmental incidents and support project management.
• Promote safety culture and adherence to PPE protocols.
