Holcim is planning to spin off its North American Business to unleash its full potential, capitalizing on North America’s oversized growth in construction led by infrastructure modernization, a surge in advanced manufacturing and AI operations, and the growth of resilient cities.
Holcim plans to list the new company on the NYSE by the end of the first half of 2025 and establish its operations headquarters in the US to serve the North American market and pursue regional growth strategies.

The primary objective is to reduce/eliminate environmental liability by ensuring plant operations comply with permits, regulations, and laws. The incumbent will deliver environmental management system components, such as completing audits, following up on actions, and supporting administrative duties for compliance. Additionally, the Environment Coordinator will collaborate with various departments and country-level staff to advance Lafarge Canada's sustainability goals—decarbonization, circularity, water & nature, and community engagement—and develop long-term improvements, ensuring technical doctrines are implemented at the plant level.
