Job summary

BrokerLink is hiring an Entry Level Personal Insurance Advisor to join our Calgary, AB team on a permanent full-time basis. No prior insurance experience is required—we will provide the training to become a licensed Insurance Advisor in Alberta.

Responsibilities include servicing client needs, selling policies, quoting new business, coordinating with underwriters, and preparing applications. Emphasis on customer focus and multi-tasking with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• No prior insurance experience required; training provided to become licensed.
• AIC Level 1 Insurance License or willingness to obtain.
• Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
• Past customer service and/or sales experience.
• Exposure to Epic is an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve ongoing client needs, advise on insurance matters, assess needs, and renewals.
• Sell policies and retain existing book of business.
• Quote new business via outbound calls, letters, and walk-ins.
• Coordinate with underwriters and adjusters on guidelines.
• Prepare applications, issue certificates, and process changes.
• Keep current on underwriting rules.
• Participate in training and community marketing initiatives.
• Process accounts receivable activities.
• Provide guidance and assistance as requested.
