Job summary

BrokerLink is seeking an Entry Level Personal Insurance Advisor to join the Sales Team in Edmonton, AB on a permanent full-time basis. If you do not already hold an AIC Level 1 license, be prepared to study for and pass the provincial licensing exam.

Typical schedule is Monday to Friday, 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, with salary in the range shown and incentive opportunities. We offer a supportive, inclusive environment with opportunities to grow within 200+ offices nationwide.

Qualifications

• Sales experience is required.
• Exposure to Epic is an asset.
• Preference given to candidates with an AIC License.
• Strong customer focus.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and reach targets.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell new policies and write new business to existing or new clients, retain existing book of business.
• Quote new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receive walk-in clients.
• Conduct outbound calls to warm leads to identify sales opportunities and build client relationships.
• Contact underwriters and adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy.
• Prepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for clients, and issue insurance certificates.
• Keep current on underwriting rules and workflow processes.
• Participate in training initiatives.
• Participate in community marketing initiatives.
• Process accounts receivable activities.
• Provide guidance and assistance as requested.
