Job summary

Tacora Resources Inc. in Labrador West, NL, is seeking a Temp Entry Level Operator – Warehouse. This role supports stock control, safety, and efficient warehouse operations. The position is not fly-in/fly-out and requires a 7-days on/7-days off, 12-hour rotation (days/nights).

Required: Secondary School and at least 2 years in a warehouse or manufacturing setting, plus a valid driver’s license. Equal opportunity employer. Wearable PPE and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse and/or manufacturing environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Microsoft applications knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist in stock control: receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely delivery of goods; shipment loading & transferring; data entry into Ellipse.
• Understand cost implications on all transactions: issues, credits, and adjustments.
• Ensure health and safety requirements are met and security of the warehouse and stock.
• Organize and maintain housekeeping of the warehouse and surrounding area.
• Implement cost reduction principles in warehouse transactions and activities.
• Create daily work logs and transmit to Warehouse Coordinator.
• Operate loader, forklift, pallet jack, or other equipment as required.
• Prioritize team safety and efficiency.
• Conduct periodic cycle counts and manage shadow inventory.
• Follow environmental and safety policies and employee handbook policies.
• Perform all other duties as assigned while demonstrating a team attitude.
• Routinely make informed judgments in the best interest of the business.

We are seeking qualified individuals for the role ofa Temp Entry Level Operator – Warehouse. Please note that this is not a fly-in, fly-out position and will be based in Labrador West, NLrequiring candidates to work a 7-days on/7-daysoff (12-hour rotation– days/nights).

Job Responsibilities:

• Assistin stock control: the self-assured receipt, storage, retrieval,andtimelydelivery of goods; shipment loading & transferring; document recording and data entry into Ellipse
• Ensure understanding of cost implications on all transactions: Issues, credits, and adjustments
• Ensure workplace’s health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the warehouse and stock
• Organize andmaintainhousekeeping ofthewarehouse and surrounding area
• Implement cost reduction principles in all aspects of warehouse transactions and activities
• Creation of daily work logs and transmission of same to Warehouse Coordinator
• Operate a loader, forklift, pallet jack,or other equipment asrequired
• Make team safety and efficiency priorities
• Conduct periodic cycle counts and work to repatriate shadow inventory to warehouse control
• Follows all environmental and safety policies as well as policies outlined in the employee handbook.
• Perform all other duties assigned by supervision whiledemonstratinganauthentic teamplayerattitude.
• Routinely makes informed judgment calls and performs work in the best interest of the business.
