Job summary

OEM Remanufacturing At Finning in Edmonton, AB is seeking a Service Bay Technician responsible for disassembly, inspection and assembly of Caterpillar and other engine components. You will determine part reusability for non-standard jobs, use service literature to meet OEM standards, and assist the Technical Services team in diagnosing failures.

The role requires experience with precision tools, ability to follow assembly manuals, and strong safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate has experience in heavy equipment engine field and disassembly/assembly.
• Experience using precision measuring tools and hand/power tools.
• Ability to navigate EBOM system and log job progress.

Responsibilities

• Perform disassembly, assist with failure analysis, component/part inspection, and complete assembly of heavy equipment engines.
• Determine reusability of parts for non-standard jobs and follow OEM standards.
• Review and process documentation per company standards and follow repair scopes.
• Work with Technical Services to prepare parts for diagnosing component failures.
