Job summary

IntuitionLabs is hiring an Associate AI Specialist to support discovery and preclinical science remotely from Canada or the United States. You will map how scientists access data, teach AI-assisted literature search, and help build workflows and training materials.

The role is entry-level (0–3 years post- PhD) with flexible hours, training on Claude and ChatGPT, and direct collaboration with senior researchers and founders. This is a full-time, fully remote position with competitive CAD salary.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in chemistry, biology, pharmacology or related field with 0–3 years in industry.
• Hands-on research in medicinal or computational chemistry, assay biology, protein/antibody science, DMPK or toxicology.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Experience with AI tools and curiosity about their benefits and limits.

Responsibilities

• Support research and preclinical months of programs at client sites, map data workflows.
• Show scientists how to search internal files and literature with AI, with sources traced.
• Help build knowledge platforms connecting Box, SharePoint, Benchling and literature.
• Build workflows for literature, reports and IND sections and create training materials.
