Job summary

IntuitionLabs seeks an AI Specialist for Discovery and Preclinical Science. This fully remote Canada/US role partners with scientists to map data workflows and apply AI to literature, targets and IND prep.

You will teach practitioners how to search internal and external sources, connect platforms like Box and Benchling, and build repeatable AI-enabled processes across preclinical programs.

Qualifications

• PhD in chemistry, biology, pharmacology or a related field.
• 3–8 years in drug discovery or preclinical development.
• Flawless written and spoken English.
• Daily use of AI tools in your own work.
• Ability to teach experienced scientists.
• Comfort with data; scripting in Python or R is an asset.
• Availability for some meetings in Eastern and Pacific time.

Responsibilities

• Lead research and preclinical work across client programs.
• Map data workflows and measure time-to-insight.
• Demonstrate AI-assisted search across internal files and literature with traceable sources.
• Build knowledge platforms linking Box, SharePoint and Benchling.
• Create and teach training materials for our Academy.
• Answer client questions via help desk and maintain scorecards.
• Collaborate with regulatory, CMC, clinical and data science teams.
