Actalent is in search of an Entry-Level Sales Candidate to join our team in Ottawa.

As a recruiter, you will be responsible for identifying, interviewing, and presenting qualified candidates for our client’s open engineering and sciences roles.

The Job :

We are currently hiring an Entry-Level Sales Candidate. Initially, this role will be as a recruiter, where you will learn about clients, the recruitment process, and the industry. Once you understand our industry and the services we offer, we will coach and develop you into an Account Manager position.

In the Recruiter Position :
  • Responsible for filling specific positions within a set timeframe.
  • This involves reviewing resumes, interviewing candidates, qualifying positions, preparing candidates for client interviews, and maintaining relationships throughout the recruitment process.
  • This role offers a base salary and uncapped commissions.
As an Account Manager :
  • You will be responsible for winning new accounts, expanding existing accounts, and providing exceptional service to all clients.
  • Prospect, cold call, and establish a list of target accounts using all available resources.
  • Conduct face-to-face and virtual meetings with decision-makers, asking questions to qualify business and create value.
  • Negotiate bill rates and terms to maximize profitability.
  • Follow a disciplined sales rhythm within the CRM (Connected) to drive business development.
  • Meet client needs by thoroughly understanding requirements and seeking feedback.
  • Communicate account knowledge to team members during meetings.
  • Work with recruiting and support teams to meet hiring and payroll expectations.
Compensation and Perks :

Base salary of $42,500 to $47,500 plus unlimited commissions after training. After one year of successful performance, the salary increases to $57,500-$62,500. High performers can grow their compensation quickly.
