Job summary

The City of Toronto is seeking a Manager, Telecommunication & Collaboration Services to lead strategic delivery and ensure the reliability of enterprise telephony, contact centre, and collaboration platforms Citywide.

The role requires guiding modernization while maintaining uninterrupted service continuity, coordinating 24/7 support, and planning resources for high-visibility events such as Elections and Council meetings.

Qualifications

Extensive leadership in technology across enterprise telecommunication and collaboration tools.
Strong experience with complex systems and architecture for critical services.
Proven ability to lead modernization while ensuring service continuity.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic delivery and day-to-day reliability of Enterprise Telephony, Contact Centre, Collaboration and AV/Event systems.
Lead modernization while maintaining run operations and transitioning to new platforms with clear risk controls.
Own 24/7/365 operational accountability including incident response and escalation management.
Plan resources for high-impact events like Elections and Council/Committee sessions with defined runbooks.
