Job description

About the Team

DoorDash is scaling its Canadian business at an unprecedented rate, and we are hiring an Enterprise Engagement Manager to be responsible for key merchant relationships within our wider Enterprise Post-sale and Partnerships team. You will be responsible for the strategic vision, development, and growth of our relationships across the largest restaurant groups in North America and product verticals. You will report to the Enterprise Restaurant Post-sale lead for DoorDash Canada. Canada is a critical piece of DoorDash’s success and has an important seat at the table, as a market that is known for innovation and ability to win.

About the Role

As an Enterprise Engagement Manager on our Enterprise team, you will join a passionate team of sales and relationship managers, as we deepen our partnerships with Canada’s most strategically important merchants. You will be responsible for the ownership and growth of a subset of our largest Enterprise Restaurant partnerships. You will play a key role in the rollout of new brand partnerships, growing existing merchants (signing new products and new stores), partnering to grow business with marketing and working closely with product teams and other key internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless experience to our merchant partners.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…
  • Own, develop and foster strategic merchant partnerships to drive sales growth across a number of levers, including marketing, store count, product and operations.
  • Develop Merchant relationships with C-suite, as well as strategy, marketing, and operations leads to provide a best-in-class partnership.
  • Work cross-functionally and serve as the liaison between our partners and DoorDash leadership, marketing, product, operations, and other functional teams.
  • Leverage playbooks, tools and internal resources to ensure merchants receive a high quality experience on DoorDash, working to resolve any roadblocks and achieve operational efficiency.
We’re excited about you because…
  • You love working directly with clients; you create and maintain long-term relationships
  • You are a problem solver at your core, with a strong bias for action
  • You are passionate about using analytics to build insights around problems and opportunities
  • You like rolling up your sleeves as much as you like the big picture
  • You are organized and with a strong attention to details
  • You’re comfortable with a fast pace and several moving parts; we move quickly and are defining an entire industry
  • You know how to take very broad challenges or opportunities and turn them into actionable projects with clear milestones and goals, with minimal guidance
  • You're inspired by a challenge and push yourself to keep going when others back away
  • You hold a high bar from your contributions and those of the people you work with
Qualifications
  • 5+ years’ experience in sales/ account management
  • An exceptional track record of driving revenue growth
  • Proven success working in cross-functional teams (e.g., with product, marketing, and operations) to build creative solutions
  • Management consulting, tech, or other analytically focused experience preferred
  • The desire to roll up your sleeves, whilst still being able to operate strategically
  • Comfort with fast pace; we move quick and are defining an entire industry
  • Excellent analytical thinker who can deliver actionable recommendations out of complex datasets (advanced excel skills required)
Nice to Haves
  • High growth or early-stage startup experience
  • Experience with marketplaces, operations, logistics or unit economics
  • Experience with SQL
  • Knowledge of CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
