Job summary

The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) in Ontario seeks a SharePoint and Power Platform Solution Manager (S2PSM) to lead the design, delivery, governance and teams building with Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse. You will bridge business requirements with technical architecture and work with PMs on timely project delivery.

Core stack includes Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI and Copilot Studio with Dynamics 365/Azure integrations.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7+ years of professional experience designing, building, or managing Microsoft business applications and Power Platform rollouts.
• Deep working knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and environment administration.
• Familiarity with web standards, REST APIs, and basic pro-code extensions.
• Governance & ALM: Understanding security role models, environment strategies, and CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform.
• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert or equivalent credentials are frequently preferred.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Solution Design: Lead end-to-end solution design for Model-Driven and Canvas apps, Dataverse data models, workflows, and custom APIs.
• Architecture Guidance: Bridge business requirements with technical architecture and ensure on-time delivery.
• AI & Integration: Drive adoption of AI-assisted tools and oversee integrations with external systems, SharePoint, or Azure services.
• Code & Quality Reviews: Review solution architecture, security roles, and performance to ensure enterprise maintainability.
• Project & Engagement Management: Manage project lifecycles, resource forecasting, risk mitigation, and milestones.
• Stakeholder Advisory: Partner with business analysts and project managers to translate requirements into actionable roadmaps.
• Governance & Adoption: Implement CoE toolkits, DLP policies, and ALM best practices.
• People & Team Leadership: Mentor low-code makers and power users; guide team utilization and standards.
