Job summary

Agilus by Synergie in Calgary is seeking a Power BI & Power Platform Administrator to own and evolve the enterprise Power BI environment. The role emphasizes governance, user enablement, and platform adoption at scale within the oil and gas sector.

Responsibilities include managing gateways, permissions, security, and ongoing migrations within Microsoft Fabric, plus administering Power Apps, Power Automate, AI Builder, and Copilot. This is a 12-month contract with hybrid work in downtown Calgary.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Power BI administration experience, including gateway management and capacity management.

Responsibilities

• Own and administer the enterprise Power BI environment, including gateways, connections, permissions, and governance.
• Manage Power BI Premium/Fabric capacities and support platform optimization and migration initiatives.
• Administer Power Platform environments including Power Apps, Power Automate, AI Builder, and Copilot.
• Evaluate and implement Microsoft Power Platform feature releases, governance standards, and self-service improvements.
• Lead monthly Power Platform community sessions, providing training and guidance to citizen developers across the organization.
