Job summary

PCL Constructors Inc. in Edmonton, Alberta seeks an Enterprise Intelligence Developer to design and deliver scalable data, analytics and AI capabilities. You will build trusted data products, reusable patterns and data platforms enabling teams to deliver AI solutions across PCL.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary degree or diploma in computer science, information technology, software development or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in a related field.
• Proven experience with enterprise data architecture, data modeling, data platform design and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise data platforms, reusable data products and trusted, AI-ready datasets.
• Define and implement scalable data architectures, data models, storage patterns and integration approaches across cloud platforms and PCL applications.
• Build and optimize ETL and ELT pipelines that ingest, transform, validate and publish data from enterprise applications, APIs, files and other sources.
• Develop automated data processing and orchestration capabilities for batch and near-real-time workloads with monitoring and error handling.
• Profile data, establish data-quality rules and implement automated validation and reconciliation processes.
• Partner with application teams and stakeholders to prep data for analytics, Copilot and AI-agent use cases.
• Design curated data layers and reusable interfaces for consistent, discoverable data across solutions.
• Identify and resolve data lineage, integrity and performance issues across source systems and transformations.
• Develop shared platform capabilities and reusable patterns for analytics, Copilot and agent experiences.
• Apply DevOps and CI/CD practices to data pipelines, schemas and deployment processes using GitHub, Azure DevOps or equivalents.
• Create documentation, diagrams, data mappings and test cases for operations.
