Job summary

Softchoice in Canada is seeking an enterprise solution architect focused on Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Platform to lead complex agent and automation projects. You will review APIs, prototype rapidly, and guide hybrid delivery with Azure services for clients in commercial and government clouds.

The role requires deep platform expertise, strong problem-solving, and experience guiding licensing and economics of AI workloads.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Relevant Microsoft certifications strongly preferred.
12+ years of experience in software engineering or enterprise solution delivery, including 2+ years of architecting systems and 6+ years leading technical teams.
Experience delivering conversational AI or agent solutions to production is required.

Responsibilities

Own build‑approach decisions across engagements: evaluate workload for Power Platform / Copilot Studio, custom Azure development, or hybrid delivery.
Design and develop system architecture for enterprise-grade agent solutions on Microsoft Copilot Studio integrated with Dataverse, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
Architect hybrid solutions combining low-code and custom development with Azure services and APIs.
Advise on GCC/GCC High feature parity and government-cloud constraints per tier.
Establish quality and safety engineering for conversational AI with grounded‑answer design and content-safety configurations.
Advise clients on Copilot Studio and Power Platform licensing and consumption models; model economics of agent workloads.
Develop prototypes for client pitches and manage them to completion with the WWT Digital team.
Conduct technology reviews and dependency-mapping exercises, and propose improvements including agent and automation roadmaps.
Establish governance for CoE, DLP, RBAC, environment strategy and lifecycle governance for enterprise readiness.
Communicate architectural decisions to stakeholders and provide technical oversight for delivery teams.
