CGS is seeking an experienced senior-level Information Technology Enterprise Architect to support the I.T. business mission of a large-scale government enterprise’s IT infrastructure. The ideal applicant should demonstrate knowledge and experience in organization processes and procedures specific to PMI, ITIL, CISSP, SDLC, Agile, ISSO, Six Sigma, and CMMI. The applicant will also be tasked with collecting information for strategic business mission planning and IT investment.

Skills and attributes for success:

1. The IT Enterprise Architect position requires the candidate to possess knowledge, experience, and abilities to broadly understand an organization’s various technologies and work with organizational leaders to collect information for strategic business mission planning and IT investment.
2. The candidate will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and professional maturity, along with senior-level IT competency. Excellent oral and written communication skills and extensive knowledge of organization processes and procedures specific to PMI, ITIL, CISSP, SDLC, Agile, ISSO, Six Sigma, and CMMI are essential.
3. Experience with various EA frameworks, including Zachman and TOGAF, is required. The architect will provide a holistic view of the enterprise from different perspectives, considering budget constraints.
4. Additional knowledge and experience in areas such as Windows Desktop applications, remote access, MS Windows 7, SQL Server, VMware, EMC, SAN storage, Cloud services, Broadworks, Polycomm, BlackBerry, Apple iOS, information security, wireless technologies, and networking are preferred.
5. Understanding and utilization of ITIL, project management (PMI), Agile, and change management practices are necessary.
6. Ability to provide technical recommendations and enhancements based on prior system integration experiences.
7. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently with minimal guidance.

Ideally, you will also have:

1. Experience with VMware server and VDI.
2. Knowledge of PKI.
3. Experience with MS Windows 2003 Terminal Server and MS Windows 2008R2 Server.
4. Familiarity with Cisco UCS, Broadworks, Polycomm, BlackBerry, iOS, and Android OS.
5. Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), ITIL, and CISSP are advantageous.
