Job summary

SASKATCHEWAN CANCER AGENCY in Regina is seeking an Applications Analyst to understand enterprise workflows, design and modify software applications, and support ongoing vendor/enterprise systems. You will work with HL7 standards and collaborate with project teams and business units to deliver reliable IT solutions.

Required education includes a Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or engineering with 2 years related experience, or a diploma with 5 years related

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or engineering plus 2 years directly related experience or a diploma in computer technology or engineering plus 5 years directly related experience.
• Certification in various operating systems/software applications as required.
• Experience in an application analyst role in a highly integrated IT environment.
• HL7 experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft's Power Platform, Power BI, Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and YAML-based automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of business enterprise requirements and workflows.
• Design and modify software applications and document business rules.
• Provide training and ongoing technical management of specified applications.
• Support project teams and other application analysts.
