Job summary

Magellan Aerospace Winnipeg is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to support Space Systems and assist the systems engineering group in fulfilling customer program requirements.

You will perform stress and thermal analyses, interact with vendors, prepare drawings and test plans, coordinate prototype tests, and present results to customers. The company offers a strong pension plan, career progression, and on-site facilities such as parking, cafeteria and gym.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a university degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering from a recognized university
• Eligible for enrollment as an Engineer in Training or Professional Engineer with APEGM
• Ability to work well in a multi-disciplinary team environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to think and solve problems efficiently and independently

This position reports directly to the site Space Systems Business Unit Lead.The successful applicant will work in a team environment supporting Space Business products and assist the systems engineering group in ensuring that all customer program/project requirements are fulfilled.

Position Requirements
