Job summary

COOEC is seeking a skilled recruiter to support full-cycle hiring for Engineering, EPC, and heavy industrial roles in Calgary. You will partner with hiring managers, source passive candidates, and conduct thorough screenings to ensure best-fit hires for fast-paced projects.

The successful candidate will manage candidate experience from interview through onboarding, build targeted pipelines, and stay informed about market trends in engineering and construction staffing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
• 3–6 years full-cycle recruitment experience, with 2+ years EPC/engineering/ heavy industrial.
• Experience with ATS (Workday, Taleo, Greenhouse) and modern sourcing tools.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Hiring Managers to understand staffing requirements and project staffing curves.
• Source passive talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, industry networks, associations, and internal databases.
• Screen candidates with technical and behavioral interviews to assess fit for EPC projects.
• Guide candidates through interview, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
