Details:

We are seeking an Engineering Student, Systems Design (Project Engineering) at our Brampton office. The role is a 12-month internship starting in September 2025. The successful candidate will be treated similarly to a new graduate, with tasks assigned based on their education and experience.

As an Engineering Student, you will collaborate with senior program managers and project engineers on space and planetary exploration robotic projects, as well as departmental process improvements.

Responsibilities:

  1. Project planning and scheduling
  2. Monitoring project costs
  3. Managing risks using our risk management tools
  4. Communicating with engineers across functions
  5. Supporting engineering team activities
  6. Documenting work and participating in technical discussions

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Engineering Physics, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or Physics, with at least three (3) years completed
  • Must be part of your university’s official internship program
  • Include your transcript with your application
  • Management minor is an asset
  • Strong mathematical skills and experience in system design and modeling
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Additional Considerations:

Successful candidates must obtain and maintain security clearance at the reliability status level and pass assessments for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
