Job summary

United Wire & Cable, a GCG company, is seeking an Engineering Project Coordinator to support customer-driven projects by coordinating materials, suppliers, and timelines. You will manage purchase orders, supplier communications, and logistics to keep projects on schedule.

The role requires 4+ years in purchasing or supply chain, manufacturing exposure, and hands-on ERP/CRM experience, preferably Dynamics. You will work in Canada, interacting with teams across sales, operations, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in a related field or relevant experience.
• Minimum 4 years in purchasing or supply chain, preferably manufacturing.
• Experience with CRM/ERP systems and MS Office required.
• Strong organization, communication, and multitasking abilities.
• Authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage purchase orders to support project and inventory demand.
• Coordinate pricing, freight, and delivery timelines with vendors.
• Expedite orders and address delays and supply disruptions.
• Handle customs paperwork for cross-border shipments and update clients.
• Audit packing lists and reconcile supplier invoices in Dynamics.
• Communicate supply risks to project timelines with stakeholders.
• Maintain supplier relationships and seek new sourcing opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and leadership on forecasting.
• Maintain accurate part, pricing, and supplier data in systems.
• Source new vendors, parts, or materials as needed.
