Job summary

United Wire & Cable, a GCG company, is seeking an Engineering Project Coordinator to support customer-driven projects by coordinating materials, suppliers, and timelines in a manufacturing setting. You will manage purchase orders, work with vendors on pricing and delivery, and navigate cross-border shipments, while keeping clients informed of status and risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in a related field; relevant experience considered in lieu of degree.
• 4+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with CRM and ERP systems; strong organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage purchase orders to support project and inventory demand.
• Coordinate with vendors on pricing, freight, and delivery timelines.
• Expedite orders and address delays or backorders.
• Handle cross-border customs paperwork and update clients.
• Maintain supplier data in CRM/ERP and generate reports.
