Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Canada invites applications for an Engineering New Graduate. The role supports multiple areas such as New Nuclear, Site Engineering, and R&D, under guidance of senior engineers, to build core engineering expertise and practical experience.

Ideal candidates are near completion of an Honors Engineering degree between May 2026 and May 2027, with strong technical writing, planning and teamwork skills, and the ability to work under deadlines.

Your Role

To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Assist in one or more areas such as: New Nuclear
• Operating Nuclear Plant Support
• Nuclear Refurbishment
• Site Engineering
• Research & Development
• Perform engineering tasks under the guidance of senior engineers to build technical knowledge and practical experience.
• Occasionally review the work of support staff to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Begin developing expertise in at least one core engineering discipline.
• Manage multiple assignments using strong planning and time management skills.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support project execution and innovation

About You

You are working towards completion of a relevant Honors degree in Engineering from a university of recognized standing with an expected graduation date between May 2026 - May 2027

Post-graduate degree(s) will also be considered.

Must have superior technical written skills and the ability to effectively interface with staff, project management and customers.

Statistical knowledge is beneficial.

Ability to understand and consistently meet deadlines under pressure.

Effective problem solver with a results-oriented approach and ability.

Strong planning and organization skills, as applied to self-managing multiple, simultaneous work assignments.

Ability to network, build relationships, and plan, with an orientation toward service, teamwork and collaboration.
