Lyft in Toronto is seeking a senior engineering leader to own the Loyalty roadmap from strategy through delivery, guiding a cross-functional team across iOS, Android, and Server.

You will grow engineers, ensure high technical standards, and collaborate with Product, Design, Data Science, and Partnerships to deliver membership, rewards, and benefits that touch millions of riders each month.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building software professionally, with at least 2+ years of people management.
• Managed a team delivering mobile and backend work; ability to review code.
• Owned a consumer product used by millions monthly.
• Experience using AI tools in professional work; know limitations.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own the Loyalty roadmap from strategy through delivery.
• Build and scale the systems behind membership, rewards earning and redemption, and benefit delivery.
• Maintain a high technical bar through architecture reviews, tech debt management, observability, reliability, and on-call.
• Grow engineers by mentoring and giving feedback early.
