About the Role
One of our companies is currently looking for an Engineering Manager - Growth in Canada. As an Engineering Manager for the Growth team, you will be at the forefront of shaping the technical strategy and execution of key features that drive user acquisition and engagement. You will lead a distributed engineering team to develop innovative solutions that deliver exceptional user experiences while scaling systems to meet the growing needs of the platform. Your role will involve both strategic planning and hands-on technical leadership, fostering collaboration and driving performance across cross-functional teams to ensure continuous growth and operational excellence.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead and manage a high-performing engineering team responsible for driving growth through innovative product features.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other teams to define product roadmaps and ensure successful execution of initiatives that drive user acquisition.
  • Build and scale engineering practices, ensuring your team follows industry best practices and delivers high-quality solutions.
  • Foster an environment of continuous learning, professional growth, and team development through mentorship, training, and coaching.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of new technologies, ensuring scalability, performance, and efficiency across the platform.
  • Lead the engineering organization through growth and organizational changes, balancing tactical and strategic goals.
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of experience as a hands-on software development manager leading geographically distributed, enterprise-scale engineering teams.
  • Proven track record of building products with excellent user experiences, particularly in high-growth environments.
  • Experience scaling engineering organizations, including hiring, mentoring, and retaining exceptional talent.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-scale services and industry best practices for building and operating scalable systems.
  • Ability to adapt to both tactical and strategic challenges, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Previous experience in Product-Led Growth companies is a plus.
