Job summary

Bell is seeking a Senior Forward-Deployed AI Engineer to own engagements end-to-end, scoping problems and selecting approaches across automation, classical ML, and GenAI/agents, delivering production-grade, agentic workflows that drive measurable ROI. You will mentor a paired early-career engineer and collaborate with business partners across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Must have production experience building agentic applications and the capabilities that power them (agent skills/tools, MCP servers, multi-agent workflows).
• Experience designing and deploying AI systems on a major cloud platform (e.g., Google Cloud).
• Experience building data pipelines over structured/unstructured data using vector DBs and RAG architectures.
• Strong software engineering foundation with Python, APIs, and production enterprise integrations.
• Keeps up-to-date with evolving LLM and agent capabilities, patterns, and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Embed into transformation squads and lead agentic software development builds end-to-end.
• Scope problems with business partners and decide the right approach (rules, automation, ML, GenAI).
• Design, build, and ship production-grade AI agents and automation, integrating with enterprise systems (Google Cloud, Bedrock, Salesforce, ServiceNow).
• Know when a use case requires bespoke modelling and route to data science team.
• Mentor an early-career engineer on engagements.
• Set evaluation standards and quality bar for the team as appropriate.
