Job summary

IRIS Software Group in Toronto is seeking an experienced engineering leader to drive delivery, architecture and people management for a document management platform. You will own quarterly objectives, oversee architectural decisions, and ensure security and quality across a multi-discipline team.

You will mentor engineers, build high-performing teams, and align engineering work with product strategy while coordinating with offshore teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software engineering with leadership or line management
• Experience delivering complex Agile projects
• Proven ability to modernize established codebases without stopping delivery
• Collaborates across distributed/offshore teams in different time zones

Responsibilities

• Define delivery OKRs and ensure sprint predictability
• Lead architecture for document ingestion, storage, retrieval and integration
• Set security standards for data protection: encryption, access control, auditing
• Manage engineers: 1:1s, performance reviews, career development
