Job summary

Weldco-Beales Manufacturing Group is accepting applications for a temporary full-time role in Edmonton, Canada. The position runs for approximately 8 months, reporting to the Engineering Supervisor and supporting fabrication and production teams.

The role requires basic engineering knowledge, CAD and MS Office skills, and a safety-conscious, adaptable mindset. A high school diploma is required; an Engineering Technologist diploma is an asset. On-site work with team collaboration is essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete drawing and BOM updates as needed.

What Will You Do?

Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor and working under the close supervision of the assigned senior staff, your key responsibilities will include,

• Comply with all safety regulations, policies and procedures
• Print drawings for fabrication and machine shop
• Print burn sheets for fabrication shop
• Package paperwork for production
• Comply with Company policies and procedures
• Conform to established practices, standards and legislation
• Complete drawing and bill of material updates as needed
• Perform note campaigns on drawings for updates
• Collaborate with co-workers across departments
• Other job duties as assigned

An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

• High school Diploma
• Engineering Technologist diploma is an asset
• Basic engineering knowledge
• Basic computer skills to use various software applications (CAD, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.)
• Communication skills to read, listen, write and speak in a clear and concise manner
• Self-motivated and results-oriented
• Flexible and adaptable to change
• Learns quickly and asks questions when necessary
• Safety conscious and adheres to Company safety policies and procedures
